英倫唱作人Corinne Bailey Rae擁有一把甜美嗓子、一張可人面容和一頭iconic的曲髮。近二十年來，她以R&B和 Neo Soul 的曲風，迷倒萬千樂迷。在Leeds大學主修英國文學，詩意的歌詞，令歌曲更優美秀麗。近年，因為她的眾多音樂貢獻，更獲得母校頒發榮譽博士學位。年幼的她，教會詩班的音樂和歌唱啓蒙，為她打好了紥實的基本功。
流行音樂方面，她對傳奇音樂人有深入的研究， 包括The Beatles、Jimi Hendrix、Led Zeppelin等。當代的型格樂手Lenny Kravitz、John Legend、John Mayer；女子搖擺樂隊Veruca Salt、L7等，亦令她的音樂光譜更遼闊。
2005年開始，她成功入屋及出現於不同電影電視的作品包括《Like a Star》, 《Put your records on》、《Trouble Sleeping》、《I’d like to》及Bob Marley 經典作《Is this love?》等，亦曾為她奪得 Grammy Awards, Mobo Awards(Music of Black Origins)等。
